Im delighted to offer my outstanding litter of KC Registered Standard Wire Haired Dachshund puppies, born 24th June and ready to leave for their new homes from 8 weeks of age. Bred for health, temperament and type, these puppies combine exceptional European bloodlines with proven working ability, making them ideal for both working and active pet homes. Available šŸ¾ 3 Males ā€“ Shaded Red šŸ¾ 2 Females ā€“ 1 Shaded Red & 1 Wild Boar The Parents Dam is my beautiful 3rd generation Wild Boar female from outstanding Slovakian bloodlines. She is Kennel Club Registered and UK Teckel Society Registered, with extensive DNA health testing showing she is clear for a number of inherited conditions including Osteogenesis Imperfecta (Brittle Bone Disease), CDDY (IVDD Risk), PRA and NCL. Sire is a handsome Red dog from excellent Belgian bloodlines. He is an accomplished working dog, used both above and below ground, with an excellent temperament and proven working ability. The Puppies The puppies are being lovingly raised in my home, where they receive plenty of individual attention, daily handling and exposure to everyday household life. My young nephews visit regularly, giving the puppies positive experiences with children and helping them develop into confident, well-socialised dogs. These puppies have the breeding and temperament to excel in working homes, while also making loyal, affectionate companions for active family and pet homes. Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
