Description

We are very sadly looking to rehome our beautiful cocker spaniel Indie. She is a lovely, affectionate and gentle dog who loves nothing more than a run on the beach or a cuddle in bed. She would make the perfect addition to any family, she has previously lived with small children and cats. She would prefer to be the only dog in the household (a family member has her sister and they don’t get on when at home) however she is friendly with others dogs when out walking, so with careful introduction it may be possible for her to live with another more relaxed dog. Indie is very lazy, and sometimes can be reluctant to go out for a walk (especially if it is raining😂), but a trip to the beach is her happy place and always wins her round. She has good recall and walks well off a lead, however we have never walked her off the lead near roads so not sure how this would be. She will walk on a lead but can pull quite a bit so needs some training on this. She is fully housetrained and responds to basic commands. Myself and my partner work long shifts and she is usually fine to be left (with a visit daily from the dog walker) however neighbours have reported her crying and barking on several occasions so we would like her to find someone who is home more than us. She is not destructive when alone however we feel she may suffer with slight separation anxiety hence the whining and barking. Genuine reason for rehoming which I am happy to discuss if interested (it is nothing to do with her, but rather our family circumstances)
