Description
I’m looking to rehome my lovely dog, Biscotti (also known as Scotti), as I’m no longer able to give her the time and attention she deserves while managing my other dog.
Scotti is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves cuddles and being close to her people. She is fully toilet trained and gets along wonderfully with my other dog, so I believe she would thrive in a home with another friendly dog for companionship. She would also benefit from having someone around for much of the day, as she enjoys company and reassurance.
Scotti is gentle, loving, and has a lovely nature. She would be well suited to a family with children, including younger children, as she is very patient and kind.
When out on walks, Scotti can be anxious and may bark at unfamiliar people, dogs, or situations. She would benefit from continued training and confidence-building in these environments. Aside from this, she is a wonderful dog whose only wish is to be loved and part of a caring home.
This is a difficult decision, and I’m looking for the right home where Scotti can continue to thrive and receive the attention she deserves.

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
