Beano is a 6 month old white German shepherd King Shepherd Cross I got 3 months ago. We are very sad we are having to rehome him. I have been diagnosed with a serious illness recently and going through personal family problems and am unable to look after him by myself, along with my other pets. He is a stunning dog, all white with golden ears and a golden patch starting on his head going to all the way down his back. He is already very tall. He gets on well with my 3 year old black shepherd female and loves to play. He is a very typical shepherd in that he loves to whine and communicate with you. He loves being around other people and follows me around the house all the time. We take him out to indoor/outdoor shopping centres, restaurants, cafes and parks regularly where he sits and watches the world go by. He is friendly but doesn’t like dogs coming into his personal space so we always introduce him to other dogs in a very controlled way to respect his space and not overwhelm him. He goes to biweekly training sessions at our local dog club which other shepherds attend and he is the most obedient out of the bunch despite being the youngest. He has great obedience and knows sit, down, no, come, stay and heel. He learns so quickly and enjoys training. We have several indoor cats who he gets on with but often chases after them as his breeder didn’t have cats and they are still new for him. Overall, he is an amazing dog and I wish I could keep him but I think it is in his best interest to rehome him, especially whilst he is still a puppy and easily mouldable with a new family. Of course this goes without saying but we would like to ensure he goes to a home where he is safe, will be loved and taken out for everyday activities. We would like his family to be experienced with the breed too. We will miss him very much and hope we can stay in touch with his new family for updates and pics as he grows.
