Meet Milo, our much-loved 1-year-9-month-old Dachshund. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and we are looking for the very best home where he can receive the time, patience, and love he deserves. Milo is a loving, affectionate, and playful little dog who adores being around people. He loves cuddles, curling up under a blanket, playing with his toys, and enjoying his daily walks (although he'd much rather stay inside when it's raining!). He has been gentle and patient with our children and thrives on human companionship. Milo does have bowed legs, but this does not affect his mobility or quality of life in any way. Following veterinary advice, he takes a daily joint supplement as a preventative measure and continues to live a happy, active life. Milo does have separation anxiety and struggles when left alone, so he would be best suited to a home where someone is around for most of the day. He is also reactive towards other dogs on walks and will need an owner who is experienced, understanding, and willing to continue working on his training. His recall is not reliable, so he should remain on lead in unsecured areas. Milo is house-trained, enjoys a good routine, and is happiest when he feels safe and included. In the right home, he will make a loyal and affectionate companion who will repay your love many times over. We are in no rush and will only consider homes that we feel are the right fit for Milo.
