Cai is a 4 year old Belgian malinois, cai is a lovely dog who just wants to please he has an amazing drive and extremely toy motivated.
Reason for rehome is unfortunately cai does not get along with my already established female. Cai would thrive in an only dog home with no children.
Whilst he isn’t reactive outside he has shown signs of leash aggression in the house with my other dog.
Cai needs a firm but fair person to call his own, he absolutely will walk all over you if boundaries are not put in place and for that reason he is not for a novice dog owner experienced owners only ideally someone who will actually work him. Cai would love a job, I have taught him Previously some scent work and he has shown to pick up on this fairly quickly.
Cai knows the basic commands, sit, down, stay, place and has just started loose leash walking and working on his recall.
Cai can resource guard tug toys but will give up his ball, he also has shown signs of resource guarding other high value items like the couch, and again will require an experienced owner to help him through this.
Cai also has a tendency to jump the fence if the ball goes over the fence he will come back however this isn’t ideal so again someone experienced.
Cai can be quite territorial about his crate and does not like strangers being in the same room as him when he’s in his crate.
Cai also becomes extremely territorial when the door knocks and will bark and growl.
