Description
Daphne is almost five this year, she’s a lovely girl. I feel that she will go to a home she can feel comfortable and spoilt in with no other dogs due to her recent issues I will get into, I will say though, Daphne loves cats, more than humans i think sometimes, and shes ever so gentle and friendly with children too, she has a bark to say hello and will sniff them and even lay down for a cuddle too, not once in her life has she ever shown aggression or resentment towards anybody but our other Dalmatian and her puppies.
We had gotten our second Dalmatian just over a year ago, she was never too keen on him and would snap here and there, it was more growling to mark her bed or food rather than what seemed like aggression, however since shes had a very accidental litter of pups to our other Dally she has become much worse, she would growl at her babies and our other Dally, so much so she started to lunge at them, and muzzling her when she was around them, gave the dogs a safe option however its just not something we can maintain without intervention.
Daphne is such a big-hearted dog, i struggle with a disability and she has helped mitigate that, assisting with other things too. She knows paw, specifically left and right paw, she speaks on command and loves to have a woof and a chat when she want a cuddle, food or a pee. She’s very vocal dog, any small noise she hears at night thats out of the ordinary shes trotting downstairs to investigate. She’s excellent recall, to either her name or a whistle and walks better in heel off the lead next to you, she has a Julius Canine harness to go with her too along with her toys and a smelly blanket of home eventually.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Selling Daphne has been our last resort, we are in the process of looking for better trainers and trying different approaches to help rather than to put her in a completely different environment with new people and smells. I am determined to try and fix the issue between Daphne and our other Dally, without even considering the idea of selling her at all, but with my health declining i have understood that putting both of our dallys through this isn’t fair on them.
This is not going to be a quick sell and anybody interested I would like you to understand we will be doing this slowly with her, and please dont hesitate to get in touch as we have recently started training with Daphne to curb her territorial and behavioural issues.
