We are reluctantly looking for a new home for Mabel, our 4 year old British Shorthair.
We adopted her a year ago, and sadly she just hasn’t settled.
She is an indoor cat who doesn’t always use her litter tray to poop unfortunately.
We have had the vet check her over, and on their advice we have tried changing the type of litter, the tray, had 2 trays for her to choose from, changed her food but nothing works. Sometimes she uses the tray, and sometimes she doesn’t.
I think she may be lonely. She came from a home with 2 other cats and I think maybe she would be happier in a home with another cat.
Or maybe she doesn’t like our dogs.
We have 2 dogs who keep out of her way, and she keeps to herself in her cat tree.
