We have came to the heart breaking decision that it is best for our sharpei to be rehomed in a CHILD FREE and ANIMAL FREE home.

Lyla has been with ourselves since a puppy. She was a very timid and shy puppy, after lots of socialising and classes we was informed by behavioural specialists that she was likely abused as puppy before coming to live with ourselves which resulted her characteristics of being wary and guarded of others. We have gave her lots of love and reassurance and she is a brilliant loving dog with ourselves and adults she is familiar with, but remains weary and guarded with strangers, once given lots of reassurance and familiar she is accepting. She will not allow new people to stroke her untill she becomes familiar, therefore will require her new owners be understanding, patient and reassuring to her.
Whilst she is familiar with our children their unpredictable behaviour has become to overwhelming for Lyla and we have made the heartbreaking decision that it is in her best interest to be rehomed in a home with no children.
She is an independent dog and is very good in the home alone, she has never been destructive. She is a very relaxed dog and loves to lay around. She is also familiar with kennels when we go on holiday and is great there.
Whilst she has previously lived with another dog, she is best suited to be the ONLY dog in the home. She prefers to be an independent dog with the reassurance of a loving owner. She is great on walks and remains close to ourselves.
She has never had any litters or any health issues and is upto date with all vaccinations. She is Kennel Club registered.
Please contact and discuss further. Minimum price has requested I put in £75 however we do not expect a fee. We want to ensure she goes to the right home where she can relax and be given the reassurance she needs to bond to her new owner.
