This is Hugo our French bulldog. We have had Hugo 6 years now from a puppy and he is full of fun and a very lively frenchie. We have had issues with Hugo and children for a few years now, hes not keen on children. But just lately hes been nipping our youngest child and we are now having to keep him in separate rooms when no adult is present. I am scared the nip is going to turn into a bite. And I would hate that to happen as he is such a loving dog but I feel I can not trust him with children. Hugo will need to go to a home with no children at all. Hugo also has the typical Frenchie breathing issues so can not go on long walks. It needs to be 2 to 3 short walks a day, currently he can handle 15 minutes at a day before hes struggling. So Hugo would need to go to someone who doesn't like to go on long walks or hikes, hes not that kind of dog. He is fully toilet trained. Knows sit, lay down and stay, although he gets way too excited and gets them wrong at times. He does have re call off the lead but only if you have treats or a toy in hand to keep him focused on you. Hes not overly keen on other dogs either, so would have to be the only dog in the house. Hugo has alot of love to give, he loves playing hide and seek and playing fetch. Loves to lay in the sun but hates the rain! Hugo loves to cuddle up on a night, but his snoring is super loud! If there's anything else you need to know please message me. Hugo is very much loved in our household, and its taken me over 2 years to get to the point I really need to home him, because of how he is with small children. Iv kept them apart or kept an eye on them this long. But its starting to become harder now with my children getting older and being able to move from room to room freely. Hugo will only be going to someone who I feel is 100% suitable and id like to visit your home if possible before you take him.
