Description

Hi, Pixie has had her first litter of pups that will soon be looking for their forever homes. There are five in the litter but the little girl was spoken for before birth, the remaining four are all strong and healthy boys ! Dad is a registered chocolate & tan, very handsome and small in stature, a copy of his pedigree and a photo will be provided as he is not owned by me. Mum is also a chocolate & tan and again, small in stature, she is the Granddaughter of one of my girls but hasn't been bred by myself, she is unregistered. All pups will be vet checked, microchipped and vaccinations will be done at owners request. They will be brought up around other dogs and will try a variety of different foods alongside their puppy food ( eggs, fish, goats milk, chicken etc. Viewings can start once they are five weeks old. Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
