Reason for rehoming - I live alone and don’t work from home and it’s not fair for her. I have held on to her for her aslong I could - as I really don’t want to give her up, she is such a lovely girl but she DESERVES a home where someone’s going to be there for her. That is paramount.
She is healthy - no health problems previously.
Sweet, shy and extremely loving companion.
You will have a best friend with this Dacshund.
She’s toilet trained - she will go to the back door ( of course in a new environment , she will be learning where )
Doesn’t destroy the house when left alone, frankly couldn’t give a monkeys - she will just lay on the sofa untill we get back ( we always have a pad down, just incase, but very rare goes inside ) - we always let her out for wees just before we leave her.
Happy and content with a blanket under a radiator, food motivated but doesn’t beg ( will stare at you from across the room lol )
Very placid in the house , doesn’t bark.
Outside - she is leashed trained - but we haven’t positively been able to master recall, so never off the leash.
Other dogs - only tends to like other weens and small dogs becusse of her tiny frame.
She will be frightened with of course the big dogs - never aggressive but will bark sometimes.
Likes dogs but not all.
Likes her walk, loves when the weather is just toasty. Doesn’t like rain, cold.
Loves a stroll to the corner shop and a wonder on a beach.
Loves a bath - will let you pamper her in nice toasty warm water. No need for peanut butter on the wall - this little Dacshund is most comfortable and relaxes. I real gem of dog to keep clean. She really is no fuss and not a dirty dog.
Doesn’t need to be crated while left - or what so ever - she is really behaved and mature. She does sleep in bed with us / but if it’s that’s not your thing - she’s happy with a little bed besides yours.
Eats - Dacshund royal Canine kibble - and fresh meals - chicken rice , salmon ect
Snacks - everything
She has already had litters previously to us - so absolutely no breeding for this gorgeous girl
Only older responsible children and no other pets.
She likes the peace 😊
