Description
Serendipity Bengals are pleased to announce our next litter, due in just two weeks' time! Our Seal Mink Snow queen Mulberry is due her litter of Silver, Silver Snow and Mink Snow babies during the first week of January. Kittens will be ready to leave in early August, at 13-14 weeks of age. Father to this litter is our home-bred Stud SerendipityUK Marley, who is a stunning Silver Charcoal Bengal, carrier of Sepia Snow. Marley has a lovely short, thick tail, small, well placed ears, lots of glitter on the shortest, tightest pelt we have ever felt on a Bengal and excellent contrast to his markings, as well as a very wild look. He is very chunky and muscular and as well as his good looks and excellent type, Marley is such a a loving, sweet boy who dotes on his humans ♥️ Our kittens are only made available to those on the waiting list; a small deposit of £100 secures your place on the list and guarantees you first pick of upcoming litters, before they are advertised anywhere else. For more information please contact us. All our kittens leave us fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, flea and worm treated as a precautionary measure, with 5 weeks free Agria pet insurance, a copy of their 5 generation pedigree, hard copies of parents' health test results and a kitten pack including toys, treats and the food and litter they have been used to. Our breeding cats are all PK Def and pra-b negative as well as being TICA registered on the Active register. More information on our cats, pricing, joining the waiting list and much more, as well as previous customer reviews can be seen on our website - www.bengalkittensuk.com. Please feel free to message us with any questions you may have. Karen - Serendipity Bengals. 🐾 WAITING LIST NOW OPEN FOR OUR NEXT LITTER DUE VERY SOON! 🐾 Our next litter is due in early May and we are expecting Snow Mink, Sepia, Silver and Silver-Snow babies.🤎🩶🤍 I've popped some photos of previous litters on this as so you can see the quality of kittens we produce, as well as expected colouring. We are currently accepting waiting list applications for this litter but only have a couple of spaces available so please get your applications in soon to avoid missing out! 🐾 ABOUT US 🐾 We are a TICA registered cattery and have been established since 2015. All our girls live in our family home with us as treasured members of the household. Our kittens also live in our home, being born in our master bedroom so we can watch over them day and night until they are 5-6 weeks of age. At this point, mum and babies move into a safe, sectioned off area of the living room so that they can get used to the noises, smells and experiences of family life. This ensures that all our kittens are fully socialised and used to people, young children, loud noises, hoovers and other pets as soon as they arrive to their new home and usually settle in instantly. We haven't had a kitten go home yet that isn't fast asleep on their new 'person's' lap within the first hour of being home! 😆🥰 🐾 We are ethical breeders, so all our breeding cats are HCM scanned clear, PK Def and Pra-b negative, with regular upper respiratory and faecal testing taking place throughout the year to ensure all cats are free of any parasites, viruses or any other nasties that they could pass onto their kittens 🐾 We hold a Level 3 feline Psychology and Behaviour Diploma (passed with Distinction) and will shortly be applying to our local council for licencing. Our cats are fed a home-made raw diet (cats are obligate carnivores and need a diet that is 80% muscle meat, 10% bone and 10% organ to thrive), constant access to fresh drinking water, plenty of toys, cat trees, litter trays and enrichment; our girls have the full run of the house when they don't have kittens to look after and we take all our cats on regular - harnesses and protected - trips into the back garden to run, chase leaves and be general crazy terrors for a while 😆 Kittens are priced individually according to type and rarity of colour and pet price starts at £1500. A deposit of £300 is required to reserve your chosen kitten. ALL OUR KITTENS LEAVE: ⚫️ No younger than 13 weeks of age, as kittens still like to suckle from Mum right up to 10-12 weeks of age and we allow mum to wean her babies naturally to promote proper development. ⚫️ Fully vaccinated (two doses, administered at 9 and 12 weeks of age) of Tricat or equivalent. We also vaccinate against Felv. ⚫️ Neutered/Spayed if leaving as a pet. ⚫️ With a huuuge bundle of paperwork, including both parents' current normal HCM scan results dated within the past 12 months, parents' negative/normal genetic test results, a copy of your kittens' 5 generation pedigree, vet report, spay/neuter report, vaccination record, microchip details, a copy of your signed contract and kitten's 12-month health guarantee, along with lots of printed photos of your kitten from birth :) We welcome questions from anyone wishing to own one of our kittens so if you have any questions you feel aren't covered in this advert, please message us on here or via our Facebook or Instagram pages, or by visiting our website www.bengalkittensuk.com To enquire about joining our waiting list, please email us on here or via our social media channels. Before contacting or visiting the seller please make sure you have printed and read this checklist fully. Do NOT buy a cat or kitten from the seller unless you are happy that they follow all the advice on the list.

Be responsible, do your research!

Be responsible, do your research!

Getting a new cat or kitten is a massive commitment, so make sure you have researched the breed fully and have the time and commitment necessary to care for the cat. Do you have the right living conditions to have a cat? Most healthy cats would prefer to be able to go outside, but some prefer to live indoors. If you are keeping your cat indoors, please make sure that you can provide the cat with the opportunity to exhibit normal hunting behaviour. You can read our detailed Information guide about cats for potential new cat owners. Also read our Cat breed information profile.

Kittens must be viewed with their mother in the seller's home!

Kittens must be viewed with their mother in the seller's home!

Always view the kitten at the seller’s home with the kittens' mother. Do not accept any excuses for sending money without a viewing having taken place, or if the advertiser attempts to meet you at any other location than their own home. Unscrupulous sellers will often suggest another location to avoid showing the kitten’s true living conditions. Pets4Homes do not allow the third party sale of kittens. All litters of kittens advertised, MUST have been bred by the seller. Make sure that the interaction between the kitten and its mother is natural to avoid the setting being staged.

Health check & paperwork

Health check & paperwork

The seller should be willing to let you take the pet to a vet of your choice for a health check and return the pet within 48 hours for a full refund if there are health issues. If the kitten has already been health checked, make sure you have this documented and phone their vet. The vet may not be able to disclose specific health information due to GDPR, however they should confirm the kittens have been checked. When you meet the kitten, they should be sociable and alert, with bright eyes and no visible health issues.

Kittens should receive 2 vaccinations, the first at around 8 weeks of age and the second, two to three weeks later. Kittens should not be allowed outside until 7 days after their second injection. Cats should also receive a yearly vaccination booster. Ask the breeder which vaccinations they have had and if not, why not. If the seller has not started the kittens vaccinations, it will be your responsibility to make sure you arrange both vaccinations 7 days before letting your kitten go outside.Kittens should really be wormed at around 2 weeks of age, and again at around 5 weeks of age, and finally just before they leave the seller/breeder at 8 to 12 weeks of age.

Pets4Homes always recommend that you microchip your cat/kitten, especially if you have an outdoor cat. This provides a safe way of identification if the cat were to be lost. In December 2021 the government announced that they are set to introduce new rules saying that all pet cats over 20 weeks need to be microchipped. No dates when this is coming into effect have yet been announced.

Is the cat/kitten registered with the GCCF, TICA or FIFe? If they are, then check to make sure you are given the correct documents BEFORE you decide to take the cat home. It may also be worth phoning the organisation to check if the information provided is correct.

Report, don’t support!

Report, don’t support!

If you believe a kitten may be subject to irresponsible breeding, do not “rescue” the kitten by rehoming it. Walk away and report the seller to us immediately. You should also report your concerns directly to the local council as they have the authority to inspect the premises if there are any welfare concerns, and can take further action if required. We work closely with several local councils, trading standards and police forces and we are able to provide any account or advert details if requested and if a data protection request is sent to us. Find contact details to your local council.

For serious welfare and / or cruelty issues, please contact the RSPCA (England & Wales) on 0300 1234 999, or SSPCA (Scotland) on 03000 999 999 immediately.

Contract & Payment

Contract & Payment

Never send money outside of Pets4Homes unless you have viewed the pet (in person or virtually) and are confident that the seller is genuine. We strongly recommend you pay through Pets4Homes’ own payment service as you’ll be covered by the Pets4Homes Guarantee.

If you do decide to pay offline, always know you can walk away at any time if something sounds suspicious. And report the seller to us.

Kittens must be at least 8 weeks when collected

Kittens must be at least 8 weeks when collected

Kittens must be at least 8 weeks old and fully weaned before they can leave their mothers. Please make sure to check the paperwork to ensure the kitten is old enough. Most responsible sellers will keep their kittens longer than this before they let them go to new homes. Read further information on the minimum age kittens should be before leaving their mothers.

Get your cat insured!

Get your cat insured!

It’s worth looking into pet insurance before your pet arrives. Millions of pet owners get peace of mind from having insurance that can cover the cost of unexpected vet bills to treat accidents and illness.

Premiums can be less expensive for younger pets, and getting pet insurance early in their lives means they’re covered for conditions before they develop. If your pet develops an illness before you have insurance, it’s likely to be excluded, and you’d never be able to claim for it.
