Description
Are you looking for a dog that is still young enough that you'll get that all important bond, but you don't have the trouble of going through the puppy stage? This is Griffin, and he's been trained specifically for this purpose.
Griffin is a puppy I kept back with the intention of finding him home at a later date once he had been professionally trained and all the foundations had been put in correctly. This means he hasn't learnt bad habits or developed behavioural problems due to lack of time or any other reason why a slightly older dog usually comes up for 'sale'.
Griffin has grown up in a countryside setting with the freedom to explore and play in a way a young dog should. He has had trips into town and has been well socialised with other dogs, cats, horses etc.
Griffin walks calmly on and off the lead, without pulling. He has very good recall and will sit and stay patiently. He has been crate trained and travels well in the car. He has had basic gundog training so retrieves the dummy and brings it back to your hand without dropping it. He also takes direction onto dummies and hunts nicely for a ball. These are all good exercises to keep a working dog stimulated and focused even as an active family companion.
He is microchipped, legally docked (left long enough that he still has a happy waggy tail), KC registered and vaccinated.
A lesson and advice will be given on collection to ensure that the transition into Griffin's new home is a smooth one.
