🐾 Ginny is a 17 months old small Dachshund — a small girl with a beautiful marbled coat and a big, sensitive heart. She’s a sweetheart, affectionate with people, and used to living in a home with another older daschund. She is very nervous and anxious at start, she needs a calm, understanding foster space to settle.

💔 Why a New Home is Needed
🐶 Ginny’s owner requested to move her urgently. After showing jealousy towards the resident male Dachshund and guarding her new partner, the situation became too stressful for everyone. Her owner wants the best for her — a quiet, stable environment where Ginny can relax and feel safe.
🐶 Ginny is at Foster with 2 daschunds and a cat. She took few days to settle but definitely more settled now . That's what Foster family say about her : " Ginny is definitely a typical dachshund who loves to "talk". Gers super excited for walks - makes you wonder if she was walked much before. On walks she is still reactive to others dogs and people. Has become more comfortable around me but definitely still prefers men ! Good in the car. "

🐶 Ginny is gentle and affectionate once she feels secure. She loves her people and adores cuddles, rope toys, and her favourite teddies. A clever little girl who enjoys routine and calm walks, she’s happiest when she can stay close to her person. She’s fully house-trained, crate-trained, and happy being left alone for short periods.
🐾 Like many Dachshunds, Ginny can be nervous and anxious at start. She would do best in a home without other pets or small children.
🏡 Ideal Family
Ginny will thrive in a quiet adult-only home, ideally with breed-experienced people who understand Dachshund quirks. A home with a garden and gentle walks would be perfect.

🐶 Ginny is a small dog with a huge heart and big personality (as almost every Dachshund) — she just needs a little patience, structure, and love to show her best side again. For the right person, she’ll be the most devoted little companion, always ready for cuddles and company.
