Description

3 year old dachshund named trip. Loving little boy wants constant attention. I was mislead by the previous owner that trip had been bought up with cats and got along fine with them, however this is not the case, my 2 cats are terrified and wont come out the room. My cats were here first so i must prioritise them! Trip has vaccination card and kc registration certificate toys blanket leads coats and will come with bowls and food! I want him to go to a loving family but woukd advise no cats at home!

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs

Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please

Fun-loving and playful by nature

Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints

They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise

The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
