Description
Unfortunately due to personal circumstances I am having to put my dogs up for rehoming. Peach is a short haired black and white collie, she’ll be 3 in December. I’ve had Peach since she was a puppy and whilst it’s incredibly difficult to see her go, she’s such an amazing dog that she needs to be given a life that unfortunately I can’t give her. She’s a really easy dog to have, she’s fully house trained, she can be left at home without worrying for accidents or tearing up furniture, she’s fully crate trained too and has a great off switch after exercise. Great off lead for both a walk or a run in open fields, never shown signs of food aggression or aggression to people and dogs at all. She knows basic tricks and commands but I’ve never taught her tricks however she’s super intelligent with tonnes of potential to learn. She’s affectionate, loyal and really well behaved.
Cooper is my best friend. He’s a red Welsh shepherd, originally rehomed as a 1 year old, I’ve managed to calm him and train him into such an amazing boy. He was born with a retained testicle so he was neutered as a puppy, meaning he never grew up fully. There’s no health side effects to worry about, but he still does have some puppy energy which has its pros and cons. He’s a great boy to have around because he is so loving and playful but he definitely needs to be told when to stop. He is house trained but he does benefit from having routine, whether that is exercise, sleep or dinner he definitely learns what time each one is! He’s fine on the lead, whenever I take him to a big open space with a bit more privacy I do let him off, but I’ve always been cautious of letting him off his lead when walking down farm paths, the woods, or any potentially public area, not for safety but more so because he is so playful and can appear quite boisterous for others. He was 4 in September so whilst he’s past his puppy phase, there is a little bit of it in him however over the last 3 years he’s definitely calmed with his age and routine. Coop would definitely suit a more rural life, I think hustle and bustle can get his energy up and since I moved to the countryside his behaviour has improved massively with less chaos and noise around him.
If you’re interested please feel free to message. These two don’t have to be rehomed together so I don’t want anyone to feel pressured into taking both.
