50% cairn terrier / 50% toy poodle - making them an F1 breed
People think Cairnoodle are a new ‘designer’ breed but in actual fact they’ve been around a lot of years - they are just rare in the UK. In the USA they are very popular

Cairn terrier traits
Temperament: Energetic, alert, spirited, bold, courageous, and affectionate.
Intelligence & Trainability: Highly intelligent and trainable with positive reinforcement, but their independent streak can lead to stubbornness.
Socialisation: Friendly with children and family, but early and consistent socialization is crucial to ensure they are comfortable around strangers and other pets.
Activity Level: Thrive on being active and need daily mental and physical stimulation; a lack of activity can lead to destructive and barky behavior.
Working Instincts: Possess strong hunting instincts, enjoy digging and exploring, and may chase small animals if not properly managed.
Family Bonds: Deeply loyal and devoted to their families, happiest when included in daily life and activities.
Toy poodle traits
Intelligent and Trainable: Toy Poodles are one of the smartest breeds, which makes them quick learners and easy to train with reward-based methods.

Degenerative myelopathy - CLEAR (a disease that is incurable. It is a progressive of the spinal cord)
Von willebrand disease (VWD1) -CLEAR (A genetic disorder that is caused by a defective or missing Von willebrand factor clotting protein)
Neonatal encephalopathy (ne) - CLEAR (affected pups are weak and small at birth, many will die in the first week of being born)
prcd PRA - CLEAR ( is a disorder in which the cells in the retina of the dog degenerate and die. PRA is the dog equivalent of retinitis pigmentosa in humans. Most affect dogs Will not show signs of vision loss until 3 to 5 years of age
