Age: Approximately 3 years old
Ludo is a affectionate guy, who truly wants love, and cuddles. He unfortunately needs to be rehomed as he is not getting on with my Sproker and has been living temporarily with my grandparents and their senior Dax.
š¾ Personality š¾
Ludo is just lovely, he can be vocal when he wants to play or get a fuss, but overall he is lovely. He walks really well on a collar and lead but does not have recall so advised not to let him off in open areas. Ludo loves balls, squeakers and his jurassic park blanket which he needs for bedtime like a little baby, he will adapt to any home as he is still young, he would benefit from a home where they can spend time on him as he came to me with no training and still does not have much, heās abit stubborn when learning, which is common in Daxās.
š¾ Travelling š¾
Ludo is an excellent traveller and enjoys car rides, but does try to get his front half out the car window if placed on your lap. He does also like standing up on the dash to see the road ahead (i donāt advise doing this but it was rather funny the first time)
š¾ Other pets & kids š¾
Ludo has not been around cats so i canāt say if he will be okay with them, however he is mostly friendly with older small dogs, he does however have little man syndrome and does not get on with my slightly larger dog (Sproker Spaniel)
He does however get on well with my grandparents dax who is about 9 years old and obviously much slower. Ludo has been around many children and most recently has been living with my 18 month old baby and loves being around him, but can be abit licky with him.
š¾Other bitsš¾
Ludo LOVES a malted milk biscuit and a digestive at elevenses, he also enjoys licking the plate after dinner time. He is house trained but when he first is introduced into a home he does accident and will need to be told/shown where he needs to toilet.

Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
