This is Chester, he is an English Bulldog and is now 7 years old. Unfortunately due to circumstance changes we are now having to look for a new home for our lovely boy 😢 he has been apart of our family since he was a pup in 2018 and has grown up around all 3 of our children. This is a hard decision to make but we would love him to be with someone that has the time to be there for him more than ourselves at present. He is literally one of a kind, he has an athletic build unlike many bulldogs that you see nowadays and Since we have had him in 2018 he has had no health problems which is a bonus... again unlike many bulldogs nowadays 😂.
Chester is a very loving boy and absolutely loves attention! He is friendly with other dogs and VERY friendly with people. Even though he is 7 years old he has bundles of energy and gets very excited when meeting new people. He does tend to jump up people a lot and due to his weight and strength sometimes people can find this uncomfortable. This only happens when new people are around and he is excited, when it's just our family in the house he just loves to chill and loves a cuddle and stroke 😍 Chester enjoys going out for a walk but beware as he does not like long walks at all! He tends to get excited and pull on the lead which then causes him to get out of breath very fast.
Anyone who has ever had a bulldog will know that as a breed they can be very stubborn and Chester is no exception. He will be sure to grunt when he wants something and let you know when it's dinner time. We have always kept Chester on a dog food only diet and if we do give him any of our food it is meat only (this is probably why he is athletic)
Ideally we would like Chester to go to a new owner that has plenty of love and time to give him, he is great with children but due to him now getting older and stubborn at times we would prefer if he was to go to an adult household.
This is not an easy thing for us to do so PLEASE no time wasters... Money is not important to us for Chester as we would just love him to go to the right people. We don't want to just let him go to just anyone who is looking to make money from him or who is not going to give him the time he deserves!
