This gorgeous 3-year-old girl has come such a long way since being rescued from the vets where she was brought in as a stray. When she first arrived, she was scrawny and unsteady on her paws — vets initially thought she might have had a stroke — but it turned out she has “wobbly cat syndrome” (the unofficial name for cerebellar hypoplasia). Thankfully, her condition is very mild now and barely noticeable day to day.
She joined my home at around a year old and has flourished ever since. She’s lived happily alongside two 6-year-old boy cats for the past two years, and she’s both microchipped and neutered.
Because of her condition, she wouldn’t be suitable for free-roaming outdoors, but she still loves her fresh air and sunshine — so I built her a catio, where she safely enjoys the sights and sounds of the outside world.
She’s proof that a difficult start can lead to a beautiful, happy life — a gentle, special girl with a little extra wobble and a whole lot of love to give. ❤️
