At Martgarian we are delighted to announce that on 17th May 2026 we have welcomed litter of Hungarian Vizsla puppies, out of Omri Ruda Szata & Cimrman Damashca Aponivi. Puppies from litter “R” will be ready to go to their forever homes on 12th of July 2026 at the age of 8 weeks. ** EDIT __Jul 2026 ** We have two stunning puppy boys available, they are 9 weeks old. We particularly welcome enquiries from working homes, while also considering active companion homes. Blue collar boy, Martgarian Royston, biggest of the litter, has beautiful strong head. He is brave and confident and likes his food. Lime collar boy, Martgarian Remi, is energetic and lively, loves cuddles. He is smaller than blue, but still bigger than my biggest boy from previous litter. ================= This is a very special litter, that took 2 years of planning and a journey across Europe to make it happen. Omri and Cimrman are two really good looking, dual purpose dogs, with sweet personalities and great health. Dad holds the rare International Field Trial Champion title, one of the highest achievements in working competition and a reflection of his exceptional field ability. This litter has impressively low COI 0.9% (the mating combines two largely unrelated bloodlines) Dam: Omri Ruda Szata PL CHAMPION - mum of the puppies, is a driven and capable working dog who consistently produces beautiful, steady points. At home, she is my best friend and a much loved member of the family, happiest curled up on the sofa. She has enjoyed a very successful show career in the UK, with selected outings in Europe (where she has gained Polish Champion title). Omri has proven herself in the field over the past two seasons, beating and picking up on our local shoot in Cheshire, as well as achieving gradings in spring pointing tests on grouse and partridge. At home, she is calm, affectionate, and wonderfully easy to live with. She is a pleasure to take anywhere, remaining confident in new situations and getting on well with other dogs. Omri is health tested with great results. By the time they leave us they should have begun their potty training, got familiar with different household noises (like vacuum, dropping objects, washing machine) have had few happy car rides, been exposed to different people and kids, walked on different surfaces, heard recording of thunder, fireworks and sirens, dogs barking, shotgun and much more. I am working hard on their socialisation, some of the things they have tried / been exposed to: - sound recording of ambulance, thunder, fireworks &more - walked on many different surfaces, vetbeds, lino, pellet, grass, paving, metal grid, slippery kitchen tiles - had splash in the paddling pool - tried different foods - shower in the bath tub - they have been in the car on few occasions - explored different rooms - walked on stairs - met toddler and 7 year old child - met many different adults - they've tried lead walking on few occasions - heard loud machinery, kids playing - household noises like washing machine, vacuum, hair dryer - began whistle recall - doing amazing with their toilet raining and many more Omri, the mum, is first and foremost our beloved pet and her achievements are just an addition to what a fantastic dog she is. Our dogs live at home with us, and puppies will also be raised at home. We will be looking for 5* active homes, where dog is a part of a family and a lifestyle choice.
