Description
All the pictures above are of Kingston, I have no pictures of him with his mother.
It Wouldn’t let me put £0, there is a set minimum of £75. I don’t want any money for the dog. I just want to see that he goes to a good home.
I need help rehoming my dad’s dog. Sadly, my dad passed away last year and I was left caring for Kingston. I have tried my best, but due to working two jobs, financial pressures, and upcoming commitments (I am joining the Royal Navy), I can no longer give him the time, stability, and support he deserves. He is currently spending too much time alone, which isn’t fair on him.
Kingston is a 6-year-old German Shepherd. He is very loyal with people he knows and enjoys playing fetch on the local field. He has good recall and walks well on his harness. He thrives on routine and benefits from calm, confident handling.
Kingston can be anxious around new people and other animals, and he may react if he feels overwhelmed. Because of this, he would be best suited to an experienced home that understands large breeds and reactive dogs. A quieter, adult-only home (or older teenagers) would be ideal. He may be best as the only dog, or with very careful, managed introductions.
His veterinary history and microchip status are unfortunately unknown, as he was my dad’s dog, I can confirm that he is fully vaccinated, but I want to be fully honest so the right home can be found for him. With patience, structure, and understanding, Kingston has the potential to do very well.
This is an incredibly difficult decision, but my priority is finding Kingston a safe, loving, and suitable forever home where his needs can be properly met.
