For sale is my grand mother's dog "Bow"
She is around 5 years old now & is a chocolate Based apricot colour. She is a toy sized dog but not a tiny toy, unfortunately Bow needs rehoming as my nan has dementia & is getting worse, I can't keep Bow as I have my own 2 dogs so it's for the best I try to find her a really good home.
Ideally Bow would suit living with an older lady/man/retired couple where she can spend her days sprawled out on the sofa & her evenings snuggled up watching Corrie or emmerdale as this is what she is used to, Bow would however also suit a family home that isn't too busy. Bow is fully health tested (extensively) & is clear for all genetic conditions prevalent to the breed, Bow has also had previous bva eye testing & has no eye issues.
Bow is KC REGISTERED but will NOT be leaving with her kc as we only have a photo of it from previous owner & some of it has been redacted (she was already an adult when my nan got her)
For a poodle Bow is quite a robust dog but does have all the normal traits of a poodle, she is fantastic with other dogs & with children, not sure about cats as my nan doesn’t have any, however she is a very gentle soul so I'd assume she would be ok living with a cat but this is simply an assumption. Bow is wonderful at a groomers, nan has her done every 10-12 weeks as her hair doesnt grow majorly fast, she tends to lay down for the groomer only standing when told or positioned, she walks well on a lead, my nan is 93 & walks her with ease albeit a short walk to the end of the road & back due to my nan's mobility & age mainly but Bow does enjoy a little walk. She is clean In the home as long as you let her out into the garden. My nan does leave her home alone for short periods while one of us takes her out shopping or for a lunch/dinner or to pop over to her sisters house or whatever & Bow is fine with this. She is used to being around other family members dogs & dogs she meets out on walks, she has a very loving nature & is a very well balanced & well behaved dog! She is on a dry kibble food which nan buys from tesco & is doing well on it. She has been Flea'd & wormed a couple of days before the festive period so this won't need doing for a while now, she last saw the groomer 8 weeks ago so would be due to see a groomer in around 2 or so weeks time. Bow is currently at my home with my own 2 dogs while up for sale, if the advert is live then Bow is still available, this is a sad sale for my nan as she adores Bow but with my nan being so unwell it's just not viable for Bow to remain with her & I'm not able to take her on full time due to my own kids, dogs & work, we are currently looking into care homes & warden control homes for my nan so feel it best to rehome Bow before this all happens, serious enquiries only please. Based in the Harold Hill area of Romford RM3.
