NAUGHTY NITA!!!!!!
Naughty Nippy Nita is looking for an extra special family to take her on.
When Nita arrived with us she was extremely nervous and very bitey to the point that no one could get anywhere near her.
Shortly after she moved from kennels to a foster home she suffered a mini stroke. We think this was brewing and that's why her behaviour was so extreme. Nita lost the use of her back legs and she was neurologicaly impaired, she would lose balance and fall over easily.
Her foster mum has nursed her back to full health, she has been signed off from the vet and has no neurological symptoms, she's fully healthy, very active and completely nuts!!
Nicknamed the land shark Nita is nippy and her first reaction to scary people is to bark , growl or nip. We aren't sure if this is how she always was or how she is after her mini stroke.
She accepts her foster mum completely and would not nip her and she is so much better and more accepting of a few other volunteers who have been working with her to show her people aren't so scary.
Nita came with her two sisters who have both gone home and are doing really well.
Nita is fantastic on and off lead, her recall Is near perfect. She travels really well. She's incredibly loving and adores belly rubs. She's also house trained .
We know it's a big ask and she will be a lot to take on but she is improving all the time and we hope there's someone out there who can understand and love her as her foster mum does.
Nita will need to live with another dog and she may only accept one female owner fully to start with.
No children for Nita , she will need a very experienced owner who can continue the work we have started with her.
Nita is spayed, fully vaccinated, flea’d and wormed. She is based in Worcestershire and will need a few meets prior to going home.
Please send us a message if you may be able to offer Nita what she needs
