Mum is a purebred and extremely short legged lilac tortie British short hair munchkin and dad is a normal legged full black British short hair. Mum can be seen in photos with the kittens.
A lilac cat is a light version of a chocolate-colored cat, and it's considered one of the rarest cat color. Interestingly, we have lilac as well as cream, chocolate and chocolate tortie in this litter.
This is a rare chance to own a cat that combines the unique features of both the Munchkin and British Shorthair breeds--short legs from the Munchkin and the plush coat and sturdy build of the British Shorthair. British short hairs are known for their calm, easygoing temperaments and their distinctive appearance, including a short, dense coat and a rounded face. Now add a British short hair kitten that is also munchkin with short legs and you have the cutest kitten in the world.
Kitten temperament: EXTREMELY CUDDLY, BEWARE. They literally melt in your hand when you pick them up. They are extremely reactive to toys and will spend hours playing. Mum and dad are absolute lap cats and love to be picked up and held like babies. Kittens are perfectly healthy and will come flea and worm treated.
We have 6 kittens available. 2/6 are standard munchkin (short legs). The standard munchkin bsh kittens available are the cream girl with long hair and the tiny lilac girl that can be seen in the photos. The lilac kitten has an exceptionally rare and special combination of genetics and beauty. She is a lilac British short hair munchkin with extremely short legs, a unique blend that is not commonly found in the UK or internationally. Her lilac coat is extremely rare to come by for a British short hair munchkin. I have added a picture of her fully stood up next to her sibling with normal legs (please see last pic). Both the cream and lilac munchkin girls are significantly smaller than their siblings and will remain so throughout their life.
The other short legged munchkin available is the cream girl with long fur. Cream is one of, if not the rarest colors a British short hair munchkin can have and her long fur makes her exceptional. She has very short legs as well.
The other 4 kittens are British short hair non standard munchkins with normal legs. We have 2 chocolate bsh non standard kittens: 1 girl and 1 boy. Then we have 1 other lilac bsh non standard girl with normal legs and a chocolate tortie bsh with normal legs.
I am looking for the best homes for these kittens and will handpick their new owners. A non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure the kittens. Available for viewings on weekends.
