About the Puppies
Puppies from our kennel come with a written contract and a health guarantee for PRA-prcd, FN, and AON. Both parents are carefully health-tested: free from fatal inherited kidney disease (FN), tested clear/carrier for PRA-prcd and AON, and screened for Hip Dysplasia (HD).
Each puppy receives:
• 3–4 vaccinations (including parvovirus, combination shots, and rabies if over 12 weeks old)
• a microchip
• an official EU pet passport
• FCI pedigree
• regular deworming (4–6 times)
• monthly tick and flea prevention
Our puppies are temperament-tested at different ages to help determine their suitability as family pets, hunting companions, show dogs, or even therapy dogs.
From day 3 to 16 we carry out early neurological stimulation (Carmen test), which helps puppies develop stronger nervous systems, better stress tolerance, and overall improved health.
We also introduce puppies to Lability platforms from 4 weeks of age. These special balance and stability tools support both physical and mental development. By learning to balance on stable and dynamic platforms, puppies improve their coordination, confidence, and problem-solving abilities—building a solid foundation for future activities, whether in sport, show, or everyday life.
Socialization is a priority in our kennel. I have two children (8 and 10 years old) who play with the puppies daily. Puppies also meet other dogs, experience car rides, and get used to everyday noises. They are groomed monthly to become accustomed to handling and coat care.
We also prepare puppies for longer travels or staying in kennels.
We place our puppies only in homes where they will live indoors, but we also pre-train them for housebreaking and being left alone. The new owner only needs to continue the routine we have already established.
If a puppy stays with us past 4 months of age, I also take them to puppy preschool twice a week, which further strengthens their socialization and training.

La Scale kennel is one of Hungary’s most successful English Cocker Spaniel kennels, awarded Golden Master Breeder title.

I also participate in hunting activities with my dogs (although I am not a hunter myself) and I am a licensed FCI judge for hunting and working tests.
