We have been putting this off as much as possible but as we are moving house soon, we are unable to keep our dog Peach and need to rehome her.
She’s a lovely dog loves attention and cuddles. She’s very reactive with other dogs on a lead and sometimes people but friendly off lead with both.She has never actually bitten another dog, she will go for them but we have never let it get that far.
She resource guards toys, treats, food from other dogs as it’s only ever been her in the house and no other pets with us.
Peach would need to be rehomed with someone that’s got an active lifestyle as she is high energy, that doesn’t have other dogs and that has older children only as she is quite hyper but this can be fixed by walking her regularly. Ideally someone that can be home a lot as she is used to me being home in the week working but she can be left for a few hours. Also, Someone who is willing to spend time training her with her reactiveness and as she’s anxious to show her ways to relax.
This has been very hard to do but unfortunately we have no other choice. If anyone is interested we would like a few visits before we hand her over just so this is done smoothly and she is familiar with you to take her home.
