Description

We have two 3/4 Maine Coon boys available, Dad (Jack) is a full pedigree Maine Coon from Russian lines, Mum (Sky) is half Maine Coon and half Norwegian Forest Cat. Both kittens will be very well socialised, as you can see from the pictures we have 2 dogs that are helping with their upbringing, and 2 daughters aged 6 and 10, we also have a third cat who is almost 11 but isn't terribly interested :) The kittens are living in the house with us and are receiving plenty of attention. We are doing all we can to make sure they grow up to be loving and confident, that includes making sure they are used to the hoover. They are both using the litter tray 100% of the time for ones and twos and eating both wet (Felix As Good As It Looks kitten) and dry (Lifelong) kitten food. This is Sky's first and only litter. We had Jack neutered but it was a bit late, necessitated by the fact that he had a urine infection that needed to clear first. The reason there are only 2 boys for sale; Sky had 8 kittens but very sadly 4 didn't make it through the first week. We did take them to the vets but they just didn't thrive. A 5th kitten did but she was unfortunately put to sleep at the end of July as she had flat chest syndrome and an internal hernia which would have required extensive surgery to correct, and we (us, the vet) didn't think it was fair to put her through that. Kitten 6 also has a small birth defect but is just fine, but with this in mind, we have decided to keep her in the family (yes, we are now a 4 cat and 2 dog, 2 children family:)). Teddy and Tommy have been checked by the vet and are healthy, strong and perfect in every way. We have also had 2 litters of puppies before and the 2nd litter went to their new homes in June. All families commented on how much effort we put in raising the puppies which showed in their temperaments, and we hope for the same outcome with these 2 lovely boys.
