We are devastatingly having to tentatively look for a new home for our wonderful girl Laiza. Unfortunately I have recently been diagnosed with a serious lung condition made worse by the hair leaving me not much option but to rehome. We are currently trying to limit my exposure by keeping her outside which is difficult for her as she’s missing the company.
Currently she is kept with another dog and a cat. However I believe she would be happier as an only dog.
She is wonderful with our family and young children however she is very nervous and wary of strangers ( and has previously snapped towards nervous people) so I wouldn’t want to rehome to a family with young children.
You must have experience of the breed to consider her. They require a confident and strong handler. She currently spends all day with me as I work from home and she has access to off leash running on 3 acres. She is excellent with the horses.
She is very easy to train as surprisingly loves a ball and food! She will need work on walking on a leash.
She can be stressy in new situations so will need a calm owner who is willing to give her time to be your best friend.
She will need to be spayed once you have developed a relationship. She is not keen on the vet and we have been working with our vets to build her confidence.
She will come with a contract and life time support.
