Description
It is with a heavy heart that we need to rehome our 1 year old female Dobermann Romie.
Not her fault. I have recently had major surgery that means she no longer gets the walks she needs.
She is house trained, loves toys and be kept stimulated with toys and puzzles and is fantastic around children, we have 4 children and hasn't got any aggression in her at all, loves to play.
The only fault is she pulls very badly on lead. I can no longer walk her as it is unsafe for me and her to do so, we have not been in successful in being able to train her to walk nicely on lead, she just wants to run and the pulling is unbearable. Making walks unenjoyable for all.
We have tried a halti and she would rather scratch her own eyes out than wear it.
She is a fantastic addition to a family that has patience or will invest in professional training to break her bad habits with walking as apart from that she really is a family dog.
Only people that are willing to be able to work with Romie and know the breed will be entertained, not new to dogs or have limited understanding for their high energy and need to have substantial walks will be entertained.
