This is Bailey, He is 2.5 years old absolutley gorgeous Golden Labrador. He is so full of love , He loves his walks and playing fetch he has excellent sit, stay and lay down commands. He still gets very distracted off a lead with sniffing and can go temporarily deaf as all Labs do. his recall isnt the best but he will eventually listen, he just needs that extra bit of training. he is also a Kleptomanic and loves to gather!!! he doesnt chew but thinks its a great game to bring you your socks....
He was Castrated in April so still going through some small changes but nothing thats affected his temperamant. his will happily sit and be cuddled all night , he isnt a big chunky Lab. but he is strong! he will pull a bit on a collar and lead or a harness but on a head lead he walks like a soldier next to you.
Weve only had Bailey since june. we got him from a couple that no longer able to give him the home he deserved, due to circumstances in our lives we are in a similar position. We bought Bailey as a second dog for our other Golden Lab and they were best mates instantly. weve never had a single grump or snarl between them.
My grown daughter and children have since moved back home and brought their 4 year old Golden retriever who my original Lab has grown up with from a pup. Bailey is getting pushed out by them and its not fair on him to feel the way he does, We dont want him changing or going into his shell.
Bailey can only be let go to the right home, He is an amazing dog and he truly deserves the best home and a forever home that i wish we were able to give him, and thought we was. Its hearbreaking to let him go , we just need him to have his best life, he needs daily walks and a garden he can run around in, he isnt a house dog and likes to be adventuring. he is amazing with children and other dogs, he will play with literally any breed as long as they are happy to be played with. if you have any questions just ask we can send videos of him if needed.
