I am pleased to announce the arrival of 9 stunning Vizsla pups. Goldie, kennel club name “Golden Grouse” has given birth to 5 dogs and 4 bitches, all of which are strong and healthy pups.
Goldie is a stunning example of a Hungarian Vizsla, with excellent form and top quality pedigree. She is loyal, very obedient but most of all a great companion. She is great with children and is very gentle and loving. She loves mixing with other dogs (especially other Vizslas). Her hip score is a super 4/4.
Being a gamekeeper I have 6 Hungarian Vizslas which I work on the Grouse moor throughout the year. Goldie is in her element while out on the fells. She is worked on approximately 35-40 grouse shoot days throughout the year between our estate and neighbouring estates, along with lots of pheasant days, duck flights and rough days. So she is very experienced at hunting, pointing and retrieving both fur and feather. Feel free to ask for videos of her hunting, pointing or retrieving in the field.
This will be the 4th generation of this line that we have bred, carefully selecting suitable sires and bloodlines into the breeding each time. Goldies litter will have an inbreeding coefficient value of 0% which is superb and cannot get any better. If you come to visit the litter you will meet Goldie’s Mother (Amber) brother (Red) and Daughter from a previous litter (Poppy). I also keep in contact with all of Ambers and Goldies previous litters which is great to see how they have developed.
We have carefully selected Odin as the sire to the pups as has champion bloodlines out in Hungary and Serbia. His dad was Hungarian junior champion, champion and Grand champion, Serbian Champion, Slovakian junior champion and champion. His mother was champion of Serbia. He is a stunning deep russet colour with Amber eyes, very athletically built and has a great temperament.
Puppies will be KC registered, microchipped, vet checked, wormed at 2,4,6 and 8 weeks of age, 1st jabs will be given (also 2nd if you’d like me to hold on to them till they reach 10 weeks of age). They will be very well socialised throughout the whelping stage in order to produce the most confident pups, giving them the best start and ready for the big step settling in to their new homes.
I will be asking for a £450 deposit to secure a pup. Puppy selection will be in the same order in which I receive deposits and will not start until they reach 4 weeks of age. This gives them chance to develop their own little characters and personalities and will give new owners more of an idea of which pup will suit who best. I would prefer new owners to come and visit mum and the pups before placing a deposit but I understand this is not always possible so I am able to send pictures and videos or do video calls if that’s easier. Only 5 star homes will be accepted so please expect a few questions about yourselves and your understanding of the breed etc.
All successful new owners will be added to a WhatsApp group to keep track of the litters progress and is a great way to provide support between one another and from me when the pups eventually leave for their forever homes at 8 weeks of age.
