Penelope is around 10 months old, the date of birth is an estimate. We collected her in August 2024 and were told she was 7 weeks old. We think she is a Juliana/pot belly mix. She has lived as a house pig with us with constant access to an outdoor area. She is a lovely cuddly pig and has been like my baby since we had her. However, I have fallen pregnant and it seems to have caused her to have become extremely possessive of me and will swipe at anyone who comes near me which is not working with us having small children. We also have a problem with our daughter suffering with eczema and the pigs course hair is aggravating it (this has taken us a long time to figure out and lots of doctors visits). We all love Penelope but with another baby on the way we are not sure if we can take the risk of her being so possessive of me. We think Penelope needs to be with other pigs. We have our CPH and her herd number available for anyone who needs it. She isn’t spayed and likes to lie under her blanket when she is in heat and have lots of cuddles. She can do the tricks back and spin but I have never been able to master sit (we just keep spinning when I try) We are just hoping that someone can give her a lovely place to live out her days happily, we have contacted lots of pig rescues and farms and even the RSPCA but we can’t get anybody to help us.
