We’re delighted to announce a planned litter of wirehaired Dachshund (Teckel) puppies due in approximately eight weeks, from our beautiful girl Nutty. Nutty is a KC-registered, health-tested teckel with a 0% coefficient of inbreeding (COI). Her dam was imported from Siberia, and Nutty herself is a stunning example of the breed — with excellent structure, a wonderful temperament, and proven ability in the field. She regularly joins us on shoot days and works harmoniously alongside our pack.
Nutty is exceptionally gentle with children and puppies, and we’re incredibly excited for her first litter. Given her nurturing nature, we’re confident she’ll be an outstanding mother.
The sire of the litter is Fosterwold Hamish, a proven and locally-based stud dog. Hamish is the perfect match for Nutty, combining show and working lineage. His sire is a show champion, and his dam comes from strong working lines — resulting in an excellent dual-purpose pedigree. Hamish is also health tested, has a COI of 0%, and is registered with the UK Teckel Society as a CATEGORY A stud, meaning puppies can be both KC and Teckel Society registered.
We are a fully licensed breeding kennel with over 20 years of experience specializing in raising confident, well-adjusted puppies. All our puppies leave us at 10 weeks of age, having been:
Fully vaccinated
Microchipped
Flea and worm treated
Supplied with a one-week supply of raw food
Provided with ongoing guidance and support up to 12 months of age
We place great emphasis on early socialization and training. Puppies are introduced to crate training and feeding routines to support toilet training and smooth transitions to their new homes. We accept deposits to secure a puppy — most of our litters are reserved well in advance of birth due to high demand
In the event that we cannot provide a puppy of your preferred gender, or the litter does not go ahead, a full refund will be offered
Families who leave a deposit will be invited to visit the puppies at four weeks of age to select their puppy in the order deposits were received. We will provide regular photo and video updates throughout the journey.
