Description

We are looking to rehome our two rabbits “Flopsy and Dipsy” We took them both from two separate homes when they were less than a year old where they weren’t really getting the attention that they deserve and appeared to have spent much of their early life locked up in their hutch on their own. We took them in as a pet for our kids to enjoy. The reality has been that the adults in our house are the only people who spend quality time with the rabbits. They have bonded really well in the last 3 years that they have been with us. As we took them for free, we’re afraid that we don’t have any information except that they are both female and are approximately 4 years old. They both seem to be healthy and happy enough. Both rabbits aren’t the sort of rabbits who enjoy being picked up but they are both really friendly and are trustworthy around kids and adults alike. In the time they have been with us, they have lived in our back yard with their hutch left open most of the time allowing them to run around and exercise daily. They also love chilling in the sun during the summer months. They happily run up to us and play around us so trust isn’t an issue. I feel it may be down to early life experience for both rabbits. The main reason for looking for a new home is because our kids don’t really play with them in the way we thought they would and we hope to find them a home where they will be given more human interaction. The rabbits will come with the hutch and any remaining food/ hay. The hutch is getting on a bit not but seems sturdy enough. We would recommend transporting in the back of a van or large people carrier.
