Description

It is with regret that we are going to have to request for our Mixed breed puppy ‘Tilly’ to be rehomed. We have had her since a puppy, however due to change in jobs and locations we are unable to fulfil her with the needs she requires. Tilly is a high energetic working breed female, who requires a lot of stimulation and requires a large space to roam. We would also be looking for somebody who has had experience with her breed(s), as she has been trained to an extent but due to lack of time and funding issues, and that she takes some time to pick certain things up there are still bits she is lacking. The mains being; - Short lead walking - Call back (base is there but needs more) - Food snatching - House manoeuvring - Biting (playful) - reactiveness to other dogs and some people These are all I can think of from the top of my head. Bits we have managed to teach her are as follows. - Food Discipline - Toilet training - Leaving items she has taken (“leave it”) - Sitting and staying - Crate training - Offlead call back (“come”, again this requires more attention) - Offlead waiting Again these are what I am able to gather from the top of my head, I’m sure we can think of more closer to the time of finding her a family who can see to these needs. As I mentioned, the bond I have formed with this dog are sincere however due to having issues with our pets in the home (dog and other cat) and also my daughter it is with regret that I must put the need of her first. So what I would suggest is having a child free home, with other playful dogs who can be a lead figure for her or a companion she can let off steam with. She does chase cats but doesn’t harm them. If you are interested please do let me know as soon as is possible, I will be fairly selective on what sort of family or person(s) she will go to as she deserves the absolute best and the correct care and stimulation, I hope whoever is reading this can understand that.
