We bought 3 year old Mabel, our gorgeous English Bulldog, from Pets4Homes around 6 months ago. With deep regret she is now looking for a new home where she can be truly happy and loved for who she is.
Mabel was advertised as very friendly and good with other dogs, but unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. She’s absolutely lovely, but she can be a bit of a bully with other dogs and sometimes gets aggressive with them. She also doesn’t like strangers, so she needs a calm, understanding home where she feels safe. That said she has always been lovely to my husband and I, it’s just strangers she is not keen on.
That said, once Mabel knows you, she’s the most loving, loyal girl you could ever meet. She adores cuddles and being close to you, she will happily spend all day snuggled up and giving love. She looks at you as though you’re her whole world.
We believe Mabel may have been mistreated in the past, as she flinches if she accidentally does something wrong (like knocking over a drink with her big bum). She needs reassurance and patience to continue to build her confidence.
💖 The perfect home for Mabel:
A kind, middle-aged couple or individual with plenty of love to give, no other pets, and a quiet home environment. Someone who will enjoy her company and give her the time and affection she deserves.
She is fully toilet trained, has never even had an accident. Great on a lead.
