This is Emmy! She’s a beautiful red and white cocker spaniel and she is almost 8 months old. I want to rehome Emmy as I am finding myself to be struggling with the needs of a working breed. The original plan was for Emmy to come to work with me but this has shown to be not very mentally stimulating for her so she has been a big bundle of energy. With my shift pattern I don’t feel that Emmy will fit well into my lifestyle and she would definitely suit someone with a consistent and regular routine! Emmy has all necessary basic training although can be a little mouthy if play gets too exciting. Emmy is good with other dogs and children and just finds this very exciting. I have had a lot of progress in teaching her to settle in public places and she is doing well with this. I feel she would settle perfectly with someone who understands a working breed and can have the right lifestyle for Emmy. I only want what is best for her and I am absolutely heartbroken to be looking to rehome her.
