Last year, our Indie and Murphy had their first litter together — and we honestly couldn’t have hoped for a more wonderful group of puppies. We were incredibly particular about where they went, and one of the loveliest parts has been staying in touch with their new families. We’ve been able to watch those tiny puppies grow into beautiful, happy dogs with wonderful temperaments, and we’re still lucky enough to receive photos and updates from their owners. I’ve included some photos in the listing! These will be updated to photos of the litter once they’re born- please ask if you would like photos of previous litter! So we’ve decided to let Indie and Murphy have one final litter together. This one is particularly special to us because we’ll be keeping one ourselves. Their first puppies turned out to be everything we could have wished for, and we’d love to keep a little piece of Indie and Murphy’s legacy in our family long after their puppy days are behind them. After this litter, there won’t be any more. Indie is our beautiful fawn girl and Murphy is our wonderfully unusual black-and-white boy. Both are Whippet × Bull × Bedlington Lurchers and, most importantly, they’re our family dogs. They’re affectionate, funny, intelligent, incredibly loving and very much part of everyday family life. Their puppies are due around 14th September 2026. We don’t yet know exactly how many we’re expecting or what Mother Nature has planned in terms of colours and coats — that’s part of the excitement! The puppies will be born and raised in our home, around children, dogs and all the normal noises and goings-on of family life. They’ll be handled and loved from day one and we’ll put the same care into raising this litter that we did with the first. They’ll be ready to leave from approximately 9th November, once they’re at least eight weeks old, and will leave microchipped, appropriately wormed and with their own puppy pack and something carrying Mum’s familiar scent. We’re beginning to speak to potential families now and reservations/deposits will only be accepted once we’re happy that the home is right for one of our puppies. We aren’t simply looking for someone who wants a puppy — we’re looking for the people who want one of our puppies for the rest of its life.
