Trixie was 1 on the 1st September 2025. She is such a sweet girl...but a typical dachshund and is very needy. She HAS to be next to you, on you, under your cover, in the bathroom with you, kitchen, you go there she has to be with you.
She is up to date with her flea and worm (every 3 months tablets prescribed by the vets) and I'm pretty sure she will be due her booster vaccinations soon (maybe Nov) as then would have been when she had her 2nd injection as a puppy. She loves kids! I think she would be best suited to a house with kids (that would be gentle with a small dog) she likes other dogs and I think cats (we don't personally have a cat, but next door do and she plays with that one because it just lays down and lets her run round.
She is used to getting groomed and her nails clipped every 6-8 weeks or so.
The ONLY reason for sale is we just don't feel like we give her enough attention and walks and she deserves these.
She is not to be used as a breeding machine, I would like to get her spayed before she went anywhere but some of the cost would have to be added on to the price. I just want her to go to a loving forever home!
She's not KC registered, her mum isn't but her dad is. She was brought to ours at 8 weeks old and we got her from a professional breeder. For a miniature dachshund she actually has quite long legs and can jump up onto a sofa etc.
