My name is Rio and I am around 2 years old. I am believed to be male and I’m a beautiful green and yellow colouring.
I have my nans little Budgie, she purchased him from a pet store when he was just a young baby and unfortunately she has had to go into a nursing home and could not take him, unfortunately I cannot keep him as I have 3 African greys and a Cockatoo. When she purchased this Budgie she was told that his parents had pulled his wing and tail feathers out and that they will soon grow, she has had him for 2 years and they have never grown so this little guy has never been able to fly which is very sad, he gets around his cage ok by climbing and he comes out the cage but you have to put his cage on the floor and open his big door which he can go in and out ok. He needs to stay in his cage and not to be put in an aviary or a bigger cage as if he falls he will seriously injure himself as he can not fly and help himself. He is a lovely little bird that needs a loving home that can show him love and attention. He loves his mirror and always has. He loves his cage and needs to stay in this. He comes with his cage, all stuff Inside and any remaining food. He has never been with any other Budgies so best to be in the cage by himself but he could be near other Budgies. Only loving homes please.
