My name is Sarah, my partner, James, and I are looking for an addition to our family. We are looking for another little Dachshund. We got our first little boy earlier this year, Romeo, who you'll see in the many photos we've added. We have been so happy with the love Romi has brought into our lives that we want to make him as happy as he can be.
When we take Romeo out for walks he always wants to be around other dogs especially other dachshunds, we feel he craves the bond he can only get from a buddy.
We would prefer to re-home, not from too far away (although we are willing to travel a little) so that we can introduce the dogs first to see if they would get on. We want a male or a spayed female ideally under 2 years old.
I am a student Optometrist in my last year of study, so I have plenty of time to look after and acclimatise our new addition over the first six months, as I only need to go into Uni twice a week and James works a 4 day on 4 day off rota. Which I will also do when I return to work next September.
