Description
We are sadly looking to find a new home for our 2.5-year-old dachshund. This hasn’t been an easy decision, but due to recent job changes, we can no longer give him the time and attention he truly deserves.
He has been raised in a busy family home with four young children and a cat, so he is very used to noise, activity, and being around others. He has a friendly, affectionate nature and enjoys being part of family life.
He loves his walks and being outdoors, but is just as happy curling up at home afterwards. He’s a lovely companion with a gentle temperament.

This is a really difficult decision for us, so finding the right home is the most important thing.

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
