It is with deep regret that we are looking to re-home our beautiful, loving, 5 year old male cockapoo, Barney. Due to new work commitments, I am no longer at home as much, and Barney is feeling the effects.
Barney is an entire, bouncy, larger than life character who enjoys long woodland and beach walks, masses of cuddles and a human companion by his side. He is not a ‘dog’ dog and very much prefers human company and doesn’t always gel well with other dogs (especially other entire males)
He will be best suited in a home with a large garden, no other pets, no young children and with humans who are around most of the time. He requires frequent off lead walks as he is very high energy. Someone who is experienced with spaniel/poodle breed dogs is a bonus.
Barney is
- up to date with all vaccinations -regularly flea’d and dewormed
- house trained
- follows basic commands like sit, paw - has a fairly solid recall (but being a cockpoo, he can be stubborn)
Viewings are a must, so you can meet him and get a sense of his character.
This is a very difficult decision so we will be making sure of a 5* home. Barney has been my absolute word since he was a puppy and will be very missed.
