Hello, my name is Daisy-boo. I am an 8-year-old pure-bred English bulldog and due to my Daddy being too unwell to look after me anymore I am looking for a new home. Like all bulldogs I am wilful, stubborn, demanding, lazy, and I tend to smell a bit (although I love a shower). Likes: long, slow, walks once per day; Natures Choice raw food; playing with my toy rope; the countryside; the water; the beach (unlike most bulldogs I can swim a little bit); peace and quiet; sleeping (20+ hours per day); a treat (Jambone) after my walk; cats - I was brought up with three and will only chase them if they run away; having my wrinkles cleaned; Children - I love children but tend to knock the small ones over. I was brought up with kids but I am better living with only teenagers; The Pub - I LOVE the pub and will say hello to everyone in the pub then fall asleep under a tablet in contentment; I love people as well and will try and say hello to everyone when I go for a walk, but you must tell them my ears are sensitive so scratch my back or my butt. Dislikes: cars, even when they are parked and the engine is off - although I am ok on car journeys, even long ones; People trying to take my blanket away from me when I am sleeping it, or chewing it; walking - I need encouragement but am ok once I get going; Having my ears touched - I do get infections in these and they get quite sensitive, although I have just had a full MOT from the vet including a nail clip, an ear clean, my ears treated; The Vets; I love the vets really and get a lot of fuss from them but I don't like it when they try to take my temperature, cut my claws, or mess with my ears. They have to sedate me to sort my claws and ears out as I am a very strong and stubborn old girl; getting too much fuss (especially around my girly bits) from other dogs, I will play with other dogs but will put them in there place if they get to friendly an too close, or sniff my ears; Having my ears fussed with - these can be quite sensitive so please don't touch them; Having a hand put in front of my face - this is recent and probably due to the fact my eyesight might be getting poor. I find this intimidating and will react!!
