Tilikumn is a beautiful large mastiff, unfortunately we are looking for a new EXPERIENCED HOME for him with older sensible children. He is a beautiful loving intelligent dog but with a new baby starting to crawl he's just too clumsy and it's unfair on him. Tilikumn needs a woman who is experienced with mastiffs. The rehoming process will have to be done on a gradual process with someone prepared to come and spend time getting to know him well. Tili is amazing with people in his own home but can go on guard when out and about. He does not like cannabis, alcohol or smokers so if you do any of this its a big no! He's amazing with my kids but I'd prefer to home him with someone either without children or 13 plus as he is boisterous when playing and he's a big dog so will send you flying. He needs some one who has lots of land or a big garden as he was attacked by other dogs as a puppy and has not forgotten and although is not too bad walking on lead he can not meet new dogs out on lead. If it's a new female in the garden and she's friendly that's fine but otherwise other dogs is a no. He is a homely dog and gets anxious when out and can be reactive especially if a drunk or drug user passes to close. We love him to bits and its not been an easy decision we were hoping to move and give him more land but it's taking longer than expected and it's not fair on him. Once he trusts you he's a big gentle giant. He is obedience trained but is a mastiff and is boisterous and at times stubborn but he's eager to learn just can be a clown.
