I’m rehoming my female budgie, around 4 years old (age not exact as she’s a rescue). I took her in from people who weren’t giving her any attention or cleaning her cage, so she deserves a caring home.
She’s nervous at first and does bite a lot until she settles in- she’s scared of most people and only trusts my brother at the moment (doesn’t even bite him or move away, she flies to him and lands on his shoulder etc). With time and patience, she does bond closely, but she’s definitely not suitable for children.
She loves millet and currently eats seeds but I am in the process of switching over to pellet-based food. She will go with her cage unless you already have a bigger one. She’s never had a budgie friend, so she needs to be in a home that already has one or plans to get another.
Her cage is 46x36x93cm and she will come with all the toys inside (see pictures), lots of seeds, a few bowls and extra perches and a pack of pellets i’m trying to switch her to.
She’s got a lot of potential- she just needs someone patient who’ll give her the love and attention she’s missed out on. ❤️
