Socks is a beautiful black and white boy with a sweet, affectionate nature. He loves attention, enjoys being stroked, and is playful once he feels comfortable.
Since the arrival of our newborn baby, Socks has become very on edge and stressed. Unfortunately, this has led to him fighting quite badly with our family dog and destroying the baby’s items. It’s become unsafe for him to be around the baby or dog, and it’s not fair to keep him shut away — so we’re sadly looking for a calm, understanding home where he can relax and feel safe again.
✨ About Socks:
• Male, 1 year old. Unsure of exact date of birth. Vet says he is late 1 year old/2years old.
• Black and white short-haired cat
• Very affectionate and playful
• Microchipped, vaccinated, flead and wormed
• Not neutered
• Indoor cat – prefers staying inside and doesn’t enjoy going outdoors in our area. Could possible become an outdoor cat in another area.
• Has lived with children and a dog before, but needs a home without young babies
Socks would suit someone who can offer him a quiet, loving environment with plenty of affection and patience. He’s a lovely boy who just needs the right home to help him settle and be happy again.
