Description

Our beautiful true Shaded Cream Miniature Long Haired Dachshund girl, Ellie Mae, has delivered a fabulous litter of pups. This litter is sired by our fabulous Pied Cream boy, Bunny Wailer, who is such a gentle and loving sole. Their colour is developing as they age and they will certainly look like their mum or even lighter as is their dad. Both parents are extensively health tested and rest assured that these pups are clear of PRA-Cord1.

Pros

Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained

Cons

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
